Research Interests

Natasha Mikles is a doctoral student studying Sino-Tibetan Buddhism. Her research focuses on the myths and rituals surrounding the Tibetan warrior king Gesar of Ling, particularly in relation to the construction of a written canon and Kham identity in the late 19th-century.
